Time & Space

Title: Time and Space
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 36 Inch/72 Inch

Time is opaque as it resists light and Space is transparent and substratum of cosmos. When there was nothing Time was there and when there will be nothing, Time will be there. Time is absolute and ever present and measureless. The power of deliberation and power of expression respectively manifest themselves through the determinant of space, here symbolized by the square. Space is female (Yoni), Time is male (Ling).
The square of human experience with the four directions extending to infinity ,projecting the four regions between the directions north, south, east and west, the dimensions unfold as the three qualities(sattva, rajas, tamas) of nature(prakriti) and a fourth which is ego-sense(Ahamkara) out of which the grosser elements of the world are evolved.
Sattva(Bright Golden yellow): Essence or balancing force
Rajas(Red):  Dynamic quality
Tamas(black): State of inertia
Ahamkara(Green): ego-Sense

According to Indian philosophy whole purpose of life is to overcome Tamas,Rajas, and Ahamkara and achieve state of  purity of sattva. There is Only way to overcome Tamsa is through physical labor,Rajas can be overcome  by doing work, which stills one's mind. Offer fruits of all your good work to the Supreme and it will kill Ahamkara. There remains Satva after winning Tamas,Rajas and Ahamkara.
"Be still and know that I am GOD". (Psalm 46:10)

Prisoner

`Prisoner, tell me, who was it that bound you?'
`It was my master,' said the prisoner. `I thought I could outdo everybody in the world in wealth and power, and I amassed in my own treasure-house the money due to my king. When sleep overcame me I lay upon the bed that was for my lord, and on waking up I found I was a prisoner in my own treasure-house.'
`Prisoner, tell me, who was it that wrought this unbreakable chain?'
`It was I,' said the prisoner, `who forged this chain very carefully. I thought my invincible power would hold the world captive leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip.'

This poem from GITANJALI inspired me to create this art work.

we are prisoner till we want somting from this world. we are free only when we give ourself to this world.

Creation of Cosmos through inner vision

In the Indian tradition, it is referred to as the gyananakashu, the eye of knowledge, which is the seat of the 'teacher inside' or antar-guru. The third eye is the ajna chakra (sixth chakra) also known as brow chakra or brow centre. This symbol is called the "Third Eye" or "Eye of Wisdom", or, in Buddhism, the urna. In Hinduism, it is believed that the opening of Shiva's third eye causes the eventual destruction of the physical universe.
with the inner vision of third eye one can see the cosmos of creation and destruction as the viewer

Dilemma

We confess, we have left undone those things that ought to have done; and we have done those things which we ought not to have done.”

Dilemma is there at every point of time, those who cross it, enjoys the truth, the bliss and self.

Kundalini practice

Kundalini yoga is sometimes called "the yoga of awareness" because it awakens the "kundalini" which is the unlimited potential that already exists within every human being. Practitioners believe that when the infinite potential energy is raised in the body it stimulates the higher centers, giving the individual enhanced intuition and mental clarity and creative potential. As such, kundalini was considered a dangerous practice by ruling powers and so, was historically practiced in secret. Only after a lengthy initiation process was the knowledge handed down from Master to student.

Man shall not live by bread alone but every word that proceeds out from the Mouth of GOD.

mIND'S eYE

I paint because I love to communicate through my symbol of forms & color. Thoughts which comes in my subconscious mind, I express through my colors. Human relationship, individual spiritual journey are the subjects which inspires me. When your heart is full of love and tenderness, mind body and soul all becomes colorful . these colors comes out to communicate through symbols which are not natural but very abstract and beautiful.
Above work is mIND'S eYE

when your eye is single your whole body will be full of light.
